REVEREND NAYASHA OWENS

EXECUTIVE PASTOR, M.Ed.

Rev. Nayasha Owens was born in Lynch, KY on April 9, 1978 to Pastor Tony Weathers and Pamela Owens.  The great call and mandate of God was evident early on in her life as evidenced in her numerous roles in leadership and ministry.  After attending and graduating from Kentucky State University as a scholarship soloist in the Gospel Ensemble, Rev. Owens joined and served in ministry at Greater New Hope Christian Life Center where she was licensed as a minister and served as worship and music director, praise and worship leader, Young Adult director, and Sunday School teacher.

 

Rev. Owens continues to inspire and encourage in both career and ministry.  She received her Master of Education degree from Georgetown College and began teaching at Bryan Station High School.  She is now a middle school Social Studies teacher at Thomas Jefferson Middle School in Louisville, KY as well as a preacher, teacher, and psalmist with a mission to bring the Word of God everywhere she is sent. 

 

Since 2009, Rev. Owens has served as Executive Administrator and since 2010, served in the Associate Pastorate of Kingdom Fellowship Christian Life Center.  She also teaches in the Kingdom Ministerial Alliance and has taught and facilitated numerous courses and workshops on leadership, church order and polity, Biblical studies, church administration, and Christian pedagogy throughout the region.

 

Rev. Nayasha is an ordained minister, and currently serves as Executive Pastor of Kingdom Fellowship Christian Life Center under the anointed leadership of Senior Pastor Timothy E. Findley, Jr. She has two sons, Elijah and Jaanai, who are the greatest joys in her life.
