CHURCH HISTORY
Before he was formed in the womb, God had placed in and upon Timothy E. Findley, Jr. a mandate to carry the message of His Kingdom to the nations. After many years of preparation and seasoning for this great call, God revealed His plan to birth in the city of Louisville a new ministry of authentic worship and God-centered creativity focused on Evangelism, Disciple Development, and Spiritual & Economic Empowerment. This vision, received in 2007, was Kingdom Fellowship Christian Life Center. Finally, destiny met purpose, and the work to establish this ministry began.
On Sunday, March 2, 2008 the vision of Kingdom Fellowship became a reality. The first service was held at Corinthian Christian Life Center at 1921 West Jefferson Street. Due to rapid growth in attendance, the church then relocated to the Spectrum Center at 911 South Brook Street. Within the space of a few months and along with a membership of about thirty disciples, God blessed the congregation with its first facility located at 4605 Poplar Level Road. Since then, Louisville's leading newspaper, The Courier Journal, has noted Kingdom Fellowship as one of the fastest growing congregations in the city. Before reaching its second year in existence, the Lord immeasurably blessed Kingdom Fellowship by extending its ministry beyond the walls of the church facility into the surrounding community through its Life Development Corporation.
Shortly after celebrating its third year, Kingdom Fellowship implemented many new outreach initiatives and community programs that have positively impacted its surrounding neighborhood and beyond. In preparation for the completion of its new facility, Kingdom Fellowship moved services to the Fern Valley Conference Center at 2715 Fern Valley Road in September 2011. While temporarily located outside of its home in the Newburg area, Kingdom Fellowship continued to extend both spiritual and practical ministry to Newburg and its surrounding communities. Currently, Kingdom Fellowship provides an even greater impact on our communities since moving into its new facility on July 1st, 2012. Within five years, the ministry has over forty in-house ministries focusing on effective outreach and evangelism, God-centered creativity, and high-impact worship. Through the powerful preaching and teaching of sound doctrine, through effective administration and development of leaders, and by remaining compassionate and accessible to his flock, God has allowed Pastor Findley and Kingdom Fellowship Christian Life Center to experience explosive growth. The ministry has further expanded within the city of Louisville by establishing Kingdom Fellowship West in February 2012. Also, in April 2013, Pastor Findley became Overseer of Kingdom Fellowship Living Word Ministries in Georgetown, KY.
Kingdom Fellowship Christian Life Center, under the anointed leadership of Pastor & Founder Timothy E. Findley, Jr., is a fellowship of believers that purpose to know God through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and to equip believers through discipleship. This ministry has continuously embraced its mission to show God's love by striving to reach a hungry world with Jesus Christ through obedience to the Great Commission. Kingdom Fellowship is not a congregation limited by the confines of institutions or facilities, but a prophetic movement and divine establishment that has been launched to impact the community, city, and world by touching individual lives through the life-giving and life-changing power of Jesus Christ.
Kingdom Fellowship Christian Life Center…Holy Spirit-led, not tradition bound!
