1. Interviewer: You've said on numerous occasions that you love #Choir robes...what is the importance or significance of the KFCLC choirs being donned in #robes as they sing.

Pastor Tim: Literally, it is personal. I grew up in a traditional church… At times, I’ve always liked the appearance of choirs in robes. It's not an every week thing. We do it maybe twice a month or special occasions. I like them. It's good to have certain elements from the traditional church with some of the traditions that we've started.

2. Interviewer: During the week, you tend to be more informal, #casual in your office, community endeavors, leadership meetings or even Wednesday night Bible class...is there another silent message for the members as well?

Pastor Tim: There's no message at all. Its that during the week, I am all around doing different things. Whether I am at church or out in the community, it's more comfortable. Some pastors, my mentor being one of them, dress up throughout the week. As for me, on Wednesday bible study, I don't have time to go back home and change clothes. No significance really.

3. Interviewer: You have a large youth congregation and they are very observant. During a Pastor's Appreciation service a young boy said as part of the program that...He liked your #socks. Now that's the eye of #fashion breaking age and relative barriers... Would you say the same or did you view that differently?

Pastor Tim: It is being safe to say that I like to identify with accessories. Certain people enjoy fashion accessories...socks...that's the one that I identify with or am known for. I like socks. I have different styles of socks. I have many, many pairs of socks.

4. Interviewer: Speaking of age groups, you are a middle aged single father of a recently high school senior, graduation class of 2019, and a beautiful bred rare Cane Corso. She, your daughter, will be an incoming freshman at Western Kentucky University this fall. Congratulations! She will be away from home for the first time, most of the year without your physical protection. What and/or How have you taught her to remain properly dressed yet #fashionable, #respectable and safe.

Pastor Tim: It is a message that every parent should send. We've instilled and taught her throughout her entire life the Godly, traditions, values and principles. Even on natural standpoint ie.,how to approach job interviews etc. It's all about having spirituality, wisdom and self esteem.

5. Interviewer: The older, Holy, Elders and/or church mothers are usually #reserved in churches. I've noticed in the #worship services, they are receptive of the modern younger generations that make up the #Millennial community whether they are visiting or a member...that's not common....how was that achieved?

Pastor Tim: It is based on our church culture. Culture is not a specific or target age group, it is actually for everyone. Whether you are a senior citizen or a teenager, we stress high energy and a high impact worship lifestyle. When that kind of culture is pushed, it resonates. That has been in our (Kingdom Fellowship Christian Life Center) DNA from the beginning.

6. Interviewer: How do you interpret the old #adage "Come as you are?"

Pastor Tim: It is often misinterpreted by a lot of people. I don't think “come as you are” has anything to do with clothing. From a Biblical standpoint, “come as you are” is really a picture of us being drawn to Christ. We are coming in our sins, our trespasses. The Lord is drawing us to Him saying “Come As You Are”, you don't have to fix it or have it all together.
