POEM

Written By: Crystal Chislum

A metaphoric writing that deals with carrying a spiritual promise from God when opposition arises.

Nobody knew...

They didn't know that she was pregnant and her due date is at the appointed harvest full moon.

They didn't know that the reason she was thick and nicely filled out was because she was carrying what God had Given.

They didn't know that her glow is a contagious light that cannot be hidden.

They didn't know that she was fulfilled from maddening moments, insanity and now in sanity.

They didn't know that her husband was a watcher. She'd come around but because they couldn't see him, they assumed she was lonely.

They didn't know the pain and uncomfortable positions that she was in when she had to work. She just kept it to herself and went to her husband for comfort each evening.

They didn't know that she was staying around for her Healing and Health. Who leaves and travels in late pregnancy? It's always against the Physicians will.

They didn't know that in an earlier time, she thought she miscarried but now she always smiles and anticipates sharing her beautiful baby.

They didn't know that she is dedicated and helpful as much as physically possible.

They didn't know that the predestined, priceless and precious birth will be a joyous new addition to all.

She didn't know that her presumed status made some uncomfortable.

She didn't know being on her swollen feet and quick to think could be exhausting.

She didn't know that being asked to be gentler and quiet was a wrestle to her hip...especially in her last trimester.

She didn't know that her weaknesses of mal cravings were prominent because her unborn child absorbed her strengths.

She didn't know that so many more around her and beyond view are a loving, supportive family only made in heaven for her on earth before the baby is born.

WHO KNEW!!❤❤💋
